Harm Reduction Programs
Needle Exchange
In conjunction with PARN – Your Community AIDS Resource Network, Fourcast provides free harm reduction supplies (including sterile needles) to people who use injection and inhalation drugs in order to reduce the risk of HIV transmission and other blood-borne infections.
Harm Reduction supplies can be accessed during regular business hours at the Peterborough main office, Lindsay office and Cobourg office.
Naloxone Kits
Naloxone is a drug that TEMPORARILY reverses an opioid overdose allowing time to receive medical attention. Naloxone is completely safe and only effective in reversing opioid overdoses.
Naloxone is available for free at Fourcast in nasal form.
Rapid Access Addictions Medicine (RAAM) Clinic
What does RAAM do?
RAAM offers fast access to medication assisted therapy for both alcohol and opioid concerns. RAAM also offers brief support/referral for individuals not currently connected to addiction recovery services and resources. No appointment or referral is necessary.
The RAAM Team
RAAM provides a safe space where you can get help from a physician, nurse or addiction counsellor for your substance use and/or addiction. Our team can help provide you with the tools to support your goals.

Where is the RAAM Clinic?
432 George St. North, co-located with the new George Street Pharmacy, operated by the Burnham Pharmacy team. The clinic and pharmacy will each operate independently at this shared location, with ongoing support for RAAM clinic operations from our partners at Fourcast.
What are the clinic hours?
RAAM is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
